2250 Kennedy Rd

Toronto, Ontario

This multi-tower rental development reimagines a 1.9-hectare site in Scarborough’s Agincourt district with four new residential towers up to 49 storeys and the retention of an existing 17-storey building. Situated within the Agincourt GO Station Major Transit Station Area and future Sheppard Line 4 extension, the project delivers upwards of 1,100 purpose-built rental units in a mix of layouts. A new north-south public road, two public parks, and active ground-level retail along Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue East enhance connectivity and contribute to a vibrant, complete community.

The architectural approach responds to the area’s emerging high-density context while providing sensitive transitions to adjacent neighborhoods, drawing on local materials, forms, and colors to create a cohesive contemporary presence. Sustainability measures include extensive bicycle infrastructure, electric vehicle charging, and reduced parking ratios. The development supports Toronto’s Housing Pledge, replacing existing rental stock to ensure no net loss of affordable housing, while contributing to the broader revitalization of Agincourt.
